PROGRAM & SPEAKER:
CASA
PARTNERS
Court Appointed Special
Advocates
A direct correlation to our
major concern as a club.
The prevention of child abuse and
neglect.
Attention Exchange Club Members:
Here's your need to know.
CASA Partners is a non-profit organization dedicated
to enhancing the lives of children living in
foster care. "Not all children are able
to enjoy the innocence of childhood."
Tragically, there are
children who have had their innocence destroyed through abuse and neglect.
There are nearly
1,000 of these children in foster care right here in our home
county. CASA
supports court
appointed advocates for mistreated children in situations where a guardian
ad litem is
appointed. Come learn
the details. Bring a guest.

Further report from Kristine LaBelle Edens about her
daughter.
Our prayers are offered for further recovery.
Her daughter's name is Krissy. She is a 22-year-old mother
of a toddler and a 4 month old baby.
She is now out of intensive care. However, her heart is
still pumping at a rate less than half
that of a healthy heart. Family and friends have gathered
around to help.
As a little girl, Krissy had several anxiety attacks and
migraine headaches. Might be related.
All needs
are being met.
However, Kristine requests your prayers and
other emotional support and caring.
Recovery time may take weeks. Our love and
concern to you and yours Kristine.
